Regeneration Plans and Economic Strategies
The creation of strategic plans and documents that help communities shape their
future is a core part of our work with key skills in quantitative analysis and statistical
research, in addition to community engagement. This leads to a holistic body of
evidence for developing options and working towards meaningful and locally owned
delivery plans. Specific skills and expertise range from community appraisals, options
appraisal, project proofing, funding and delivery mechanisms.
Our strategic work
has in recent years focussed on holistic and valley area regeneration plans for
Welsh Assembly Government and local authorities including Bridgend County Borough
Council, Powys County Council and Torfaen County Borough Council. Work tends to
focus on economy and enterprise, skills and education, transport and connectivity,
health and well being, housing, place-making and community facilities with sustainable
development as cross cutting principle to all activities. The organisational capacity
to deliver action is also core to our work and finding innovative solutions to project
development and delivery.
