Miller Research, in partnership with Four Cymru, an integrated communications company, have been commissioned to undertake brand visioning and user testing to support the development of the National Academy of Educational Leadership. The aim is to produce a brand which conveys the vision and values of the Academy, whilst establishing the Academy as an independent organisation run by practitioners for practitioners.
The National Academy of Educational Leadership aims to nurture and inspire leaders from schools, higher and further education establishments, Local Authorities and all others involved in delivering and supporting education in Wales. Specifically, the Academy will be instrumental to enabling objective two of the National Mission, by “developing inspirational leaders working collaboratively to raise standards”.
Miller Research will conduct two workshops and one email consultation to allow all stakeholders to feedback throughout the brand development process. These include the shadow board, who were involved in developing the vision for the Academy, and the associate pilot heads, who are taking the Academy forward into delivery. It is proposed that by gaining insight and input from these groups, an appropriate and engaging brand will be devised, conveying the values which underpin the National Academy for Educational Leadership.
Based on the feedback throughout the workshops and the email consultation, stakeholders have selected the logo below as their preferred route for the branding, informing the development of the National Academy for Educational Leadership.
