Project Summary:

Miller Research carried out research in primary, secondary and Special Schools on behalf of the Welsh Government to explore existing knowledge of the ‘Pupil Participation’ agenda and the existing level of commitment within schools to facilitating and encouraging pupils to become involved in decision making and to voice their opinions in school. Secondly, these focus groups provided the opportunity to test different versions of promotional materials intended to raise awareness of the issue of Pupil Participation, to encourage pupils to become more involved in school decisions and to guide teachers, governors and parents on the best way to encourage and support them in this.
