Project Summary:

Miller Research has been commissioned to undertake the Inception and Interim Evaluation of the Menai Science Park (M-SParc) operation.

About the Menai Science Park
M-SParc is a five-year operation that aims to create and advanced and sustainable Science Park to serve the people and economy of North West Wales. It will focus on attracting businesses in the low carbon (energy and environment) sector that develop sustainable technologies. The centre of the Park is a 5000 sq. metre building on the Isle of Anglesey.
M-SParc is a wholly-owned subsidiary of Bangor University, and the operation received funding from Welsh Government, Bangor University and WEFO, through the European Regional Development Fund (under Priority 1, Specific Objective 1.2).

You can follow the progress of the Park on its website or its Twitter page:

About Our Evaluation
The Inception Evaluation (Autumn/Winter 2016) involved a review of project documentation and relevant policy documents, scoping interviews, and the development of a Theory-of-Change based Operation Intervention Logic Model and a comprehensive Evaluation Framework.
The Interim Evaluation (Autumn/Winter 2017) will involve the analysis of the operation’s monitoring data through which we will assess the progress made by the operation, a further review of literature, and an options analysis that will inform our recommendations for the operation going forward.
