Graduate Research Analyst
After completing an undergraduate degree in Politics and English Language, and then an MA in Political Science on the European Politics pathway, Jenny moved to Monmouthshire in November 2015. At university she specialised in qualitative research methods, focussing particularly on Discourse Analysis. During her MA she undertook research that focused on areas such as the Greening Amendments to the Common Agricultural Policy, and the non-state governance of the palm oil industry, while her thesis focused on the discourse of human trafficking in the European Parliament.
Outside of work, Jenny is a self-confessed ‘politics geek’, as she enjoys campaigning and following local, national and international developments in the news. Living on a farm, she enjoys taking her dogs for long walks and has started running as a means to stay fit since moving away from the Cornish coast! She also enjoys snowboarding, and loves travelling.
