The Abergavenny Food Festival returned on 18 September with its annual conference, hosted by Miller Research. The discussion brought together more than 80 attendees from across food producers, horticulture and policy agencies, combining local expertise with insights from those at the forefront of current legislation. This year, our conference responded to the pressing threat of food system instability through a focus on cultivating resilience. Talks explored Welsh and UK-level food governance, building resilience within and across sectors, and sending a clear message to decisionmakers of Wales’ unique role in protecting and sustaining a prosperous food system.
