How we work

We deliver research and evaluation across areas including community cohesion, decarbonisation, education, food systems, public health and economic development. Our work combines qualitative insight, evidence synthesis and systems thinking to help clients better understand complex policy and social challenges.

Our approach includes inclusive fieldwork and stakeholder engagement, rapid and systematic evidence reviews, exploratory research, system mapping, theory of change development and mixed-method evaluation. We place particular emphasis on understanding lived experience and ensuring a wide range of voices are reflected in our work.

Social and economic sustainability form a growing area of focus for our team, particularly in relation to climate, environment and just transition policy. We are interested in how communities adapt to change, respond to inequality and build resilience through fair and inclusive approaches to decarbonisation and environmental action.
