Harri is a Research Analyst at Miller Research, having recently completed an MSc in Nature, Society and Environmental Governance at the University of Oxford. He also holds a BA in Geography from the University of Cambridge.  

Harri’s academic background has inspired a broad interest in climate and environmental issues, with a particular focus on just transition-related policy in Wales. His postgraduate dissertation focused on competing ideas of environmental justice surrounding the Ffos-y-Fran Land Reclamation Scheme in Merthyr Tydfil, where he drew on interviewing, focus groups and mixed-methods qualitative research. Earlier this year, Harri returned from a British Council teaching placement in Menorca, Spain, where he built on his previous SEND and ESL teaching experience. He is excited to apply these experiences to Miller’s work in education policy and research. 

Since joining Miller Research, Harri has been working across several projects, including a systematic literature and evidence review of carbon pricing policies in the transport, heating and agriculture sector, focussing particularly on their effectiveness in reducing emissions and distributional impact.  

Outside of work, Harri spends his time hiking the Swansea Valley, trying out new recipes and practising his Spanish. He’s currently planning his next solo trip!
