Miller Research UK (Ltd) has a brand new website, so what better time to take stock and to provide a bit of an update from us.
Our online address remains the same, but when you now visit www.miller-research.co.uk you are greeted by an earthy palette, fresh clean lines, and straightforward functionality. Behind the scenes, our core values remain the same of course, but we hope this new website better reflects our mission and how we like to operate – accurate, accessible, and easy to work with.
It also allows us to better communicate our current work, projects, and objectives. So why not take a look, and while you’re there you can get up to speed on some of our latest developments.
New projects
We are as busy as ever with research, consultation, and evaluation work, continuing to focus on rural development, sustainability, regeneration, health, education, and social care. This includes supporting the Welsh Government with their new Circular Economy Strategy, working with Animal Health Wales to evaluate a programme to eradicate Bovine Viral Diarrhoea, and research into the cybersecurity sector in Wales. You can read details about these in the Project section of our website.
New faces
There are also some new faces in the team as we continue to grow, with three new research analysts, a consultant and senior consultant employed since November last year. They bring with them fresh experience and ideas, and a diversity of backgrounds and knowledge from politics to communications, economics to sustainability. Visit the Team section of our website for more information on our new recruits and the rest of the team.
More content, comment and conversations
We celebrate the diverse experiences, knowledge, and opinions of our staff, and our Blog has recently proved a productive source of thought pieces on a range of issues and topics relevant to our work and the wider world. Recent posts have explored the benefits of a 4-day working week, discussed how to control a narrative, and examined the possibilities posed
in a post-Covid-19 world. These are all posted on our Facebook page, where we also upload other content we think our others with a shared disposition might find interesting, as well as local opportunities and development.
Although our staff are all currently working from home, it has not hindered the quality of our work, and we recently passed our BSi Environmental Management Systems & Quality Management Systems audit with flying colours. Homeworking has also not hindered plans to expand the office for when we are able to return as well, with plans to increase the kitchen and social areas, to maintain a happy and well-fed workforce.
Although we are living in more challenging and uncertain times, Miller Research is very much moving forward, with a flexible and dynamic attitude, and now with a sparkly new website to better share our progress and news. Thank you to local company, Innivo, for designing and building the website and holding our hand through all stages of its development.
